Christina is a freelance dance artist and experimental filmmaker. Her movement based films push the bounds of human physicality in rugged and unconventional spaces. Much of her work is inspired by her lived experiences in New York and Alaska. Currently, Christina is a company member with Andiamo Dance Company and the founder of the Ketchikan Dance Film Festival- the first dance film fest to premiere in Southeast Alaska. She was an artist-in-residence for the Helper, Utah Artists Residency program, and her latest dance film “Un-Contained” was selected to premiere in the inaugural Floor Films Dance Fest in Seattle.
Christina has performed and presented works in numerous festivals across the nation such as the 2024 NYC Dance Bloc Festival (NYC), Earth Love Fest (Brooklyn, NY) SUNY Potsdam Loko Arts Festival (Potsdam, NY), Fertile Ground: New Work Series (NYC), Salty Showcase (Salt Lake City, UT), Gigglefeet Dance Festival (Ketchikan, AK) and the Blueberry Arts Festival (Ketchikan, AK). Her dance film “Impossible To See in Full” was an award nominee for the Inspired Dance Film Festival based in Sydney, Australia. She was on faculty at the University of Utah Tanner Dance Arts in Education Program from 2019-2021 , and has been a guest artist for numerous studios and programs such as the Irvine Valley College Dance Department (Irvine, CA) and St. Johns School of the Arts (St. John, US Virgin Islands).
